Steve writes --

"Eric - in later January, my wife found a pit bull running along highway 95. It was after midnight, but she decided to pick-up the dog and bring her home. We took her to the vet and groomers and have nursed her back to health. The vet estimates she is a little over a year old, well trained and just a great dog.

However, we have two young children and are expecting a third in August. We have not witnesses any aggressive behavior from the dog, but we just do not feel comfortable keeping her around our children. She has all her shots but has not been spayed and we know she deserves a good home. She loves people and other dogs, and the more attention she gets the happier she is.

Attached is a picture, and I am looking for options for her. I have tried Craigs List but have fallen short. Thanks in advance for any ideas on what we can do with her. If we cannot find a home for her within a week or two, we will be forced to take her to the Humane Society. Steve"

Well, Ms. Clara is a real looker, and she has proven herself a little lady in Steve's world --

-- can you promise her 12 years of fun and commitment? If so, then fill out an adoption application above -- after her spay surgery, she'll entertain any and all offers of adoption -- !!

Clara is in New England, likely Connecticut.
