Here's the sad story of Kate and her babies --
"2 yr old female who has 5 remaining puppies out 9. She came in with several other dogs that were seized by the DEA after an arrest for drug & weapon possession. The people actually took good care of the dogs if one judged by the vitamins and drugs that were seized by our rescue driver.
She's a bit wary, but once she gets to know you, she's a sweetie. Her Babies, Jesse, Virgil, Morgan, Josie & Doc, are a couple of weeks bigger now.
One big unhappy family…… "
So, there we have it -- there were nine puppies originally -- three didn't make it, and someone pocketed the other one --
-- needless to say, these loves need WONDERFUL homes --
-- PLEASE CONSIDER KATE -- !! Adult dogs are MUCH easier to raise than puppies, and certainly have less growing pains than the little mites --
-- also, if you're interested in puppies, breed-experience is strongly favored, and enrollment in obedience at adoption is a must.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS: When looking at puppies, they're cute, fun and the smell pretty neat. These babies will grow up to be the size and temperament of a pit bull -- their mother is a pretty good start of what they might look like. I need adopters that will acknowledge this, and that will not be surrendering these pups after a year, saying "He's just too much" or "I don't have time for her" -- they don't deserve that treatment, especially after what they've been through --
-- an example of ideal homes for these pups can be found in Max's and Kate's placements -- in both cases, the couples are bringing the pups fully in to their homes, raising them with obedience and love, and are growing more attached to them as they grow in to adults.
All pups will come spayed / neutered, microchipped, and will be up to date on shots and wormed with Drontal Plus. Adoption is $265 -- which includes a slight adjustment for gasoline -- I do personal home-visits to all pups I place.
