I’m Amanda Eastman, and I’m the founder and author of SPBR – Smiling Pit Bull & Roomies.
I created SPBR because I love all things pit bull—the people, the dogs, and everything in between. The goal of this site is to share all the info out there about pit bulls—good, bad, and ugly—in a way that’s accessible and easy to understand.
I’ve been a pit bull lover since my first dog was a rescued pit bull mix named Mr. Bingley (he was also my first boyfriend). Since then, I’ve owned many different breeds of dogs—and two cats!—but my heart always belongs to the pittie.
It’s my mission to help people understand pit bulls and dispel some myths about these beautiful dogs that too often get a bad rap for no good reason. I want to be your pit bull guru and help you learn more about these amazing dogs. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
